A Derma Roller treatment has similar results to laser treatment, deep chemical peels and medical dermabrasion, but is less invasive and a fraction of the cost. It can be used on all skin types and even the most sensitive and is particularly beneficial for delicate areas such as around the eyes, neck and décolleté.

After the Derma Roller treatment the body will begin to repair and regenerate the skin, working below the skins surface in the Dermis. This process takes time as new collagen is formulated and new cells generated. It can take up to 4-6 weeks before visible signs of skin rejuvenation are seen, this process will also continue for the coming months providing you with a long lasting result. For optimum results we recommend a course of three treatments taken six weeks apart. Treatment for acne scaring may require up to five treatments for optimum results.

Immediately after the treatment the skin may be red and feel warm, a feeling of sunburn is not uncommon. This usually subsides after a few hours. During the next week the skin will also feel a little drier than normal as it starts to regenerate and repair.

We recommend the use of our carefully designed Post Treatment Kit to ensure the skin heals faster and this will also help to combat the ensuing dryness which follows the treatment, the homecare also includes an SPF30 which we recommend you use daily during your clinical treatment.
