Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion (MDA)

A progressive, rather than aggressive treatment, Microdermabrasion (MDA) offers a safe, controlled method of skin exfoliation and allows superficial peeling through abrasion of dead skin cells. A flow of crystal on the skin’s surface will gently remove the old skin cells layer by layer. A gentle vacuum action also achieves an immediate lifting effect on tired muscles and stimulates the blood supply to the skin’s surface to help promote collagen and elastin formulation. Specific attention is given to any areas of concern such as open pores, fine lines and wrinkles, blemished skin or acne scarring, resulting in dramatically rejuvenated skin.

At Dale Evans Beauty Salons we use the revolutionary Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion system which is used by celebrities worldwide. This is a new treatment introduced in January 2007.

Crystal Clear is one of the leading companies in the development of this treatment. Microdermabrasion offers a safe, controlled method of skin exfoliation and allows superficial peeling of the stratum corneum ("the horney layer") reducing its thickness through mechanical abrasion of the dead skin cells.

A flow of crystals are impinged directly onto the skin surface and the speed of the crystals together with their abrasive nature will gently remove the epidermal cells layer by layer. Used crystals and dead skin cells are removed by a gentle vacuum action which also stimulates a lifting effect on tired muscles.
